Knight Rider (1982 TV Series)

Knight Rider (1982 TV Series)

Knight Rider was a television series aired on September 26, 1982, to April 4th, 1986. The show has four seasons and 90 episodes total. I still remember it was aired on local channel KUTP channel 45 in Phoenix, Arizona. Channel 45 was my favorite because of this television show. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I used to watch it every day until I am so tired of it.

I am deaf, and my parents couldn’t afford a caption decoder. But what got me to watch the show? Of course a talking car. I also thought it was real life. LOL. Kids, huh? I love it even I had no idea what going on.

Okay. Let’s stop talking about TV show because this post is supposed to be about a childhood toy! ๐Ÿ™‚ I remember I got this present from my parents for Christmas or my birthday. I was so happy that I have this toy. It also talks, too! Though I am deaf and no idea what it says, but it was awesome that I always playing around the house. Stop the criminals. Fight the criminals, and helping police. Of course, they thought Michael Knight was a troublemaker. I also was mischief with it. I was chasing animals with the car but my parents punished me for that. And I stopped chasing with the car.

Later, at the end of a toy car’s life, I was playing roughly as normal boys would do back in the 1980s. I broke a toy car’s roof, doors then when all the plastic of car come off all there was car seats and wheels. That’s it but I got worst until the point where the car seats actually come off. I decided to throw it away ๐Ÿ™ because it all destroyed. Of course, that was about two years after I got the present and the stores don’t sell them anymore. I lost it and learned a lesson. But it was so fun to play with this toy car before I destroyed the toy car.

The microchip implant has good and bad in it. Microchip implant also used with both human and pets.

Microchip implant used for identity and information about lost or missing humans and pets. It also has health records in case you pass out or fall into a coma.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a GPS (Global Positioning System) equipped microchip implant. As GPS require a form of power such as a battery which is not possible. A microchip implant won’t tell you where your pet is, but when the pet is lost and someone found your pet they can scan the microchip implant to identity about the pet and to find the owner and contact you about the pet that they found.

Some of the pet owners already have microchip implant in their dogs and cats in case they went missing or lost. Because without the microchip implant, the pet owners usually never get their pets back and never seen again. I’d love to have microchip implants in my pets, but it very expensive to have veterinarians to put microchip implant in the pet’s body.

Microchip implant can be used for bad reasons. It can take away your freedom and privacy. Someone could spy on you with a microchip implant.
In the future, a communist government could use a microchip implant for tracking humans, and their every movement. They could pass a law requiring you to have a microchip implant in your body. If you don’t, it would be a death penalty.

I like the idea of a microchip implant for very good reasons. It records a person health, and her or his identity. I would want a microchip implant in my body because I have so many health issues. If I passed out and fall into a coma, they can scan my microchip implant to find my identity and my health records. Maybe contact my family if I am alone out there in the public.

7 Things I Learned As Kid

1. The World Is Cruel
When I was very little boy everybody being nice to me. By age of 15 or 16, I start to notice that people starting to being mean to me.

2. Things Are Not What You Expect It To Be
I thought I was going to get marry and have kids, having my own family. I am 39 and single and fatherless. No family. No kids.

3. People Are Not Always Nice
When I was a very little boy, people are always being nice. As I get older, people getting meaner and meaner, and meaner to the point where people being mean to me.

4. It is Very Difficult To Reach Your Goal
Some thing I am not good at like math. Some skills also require good math which I am bad at.

5. Some People Will Try To Bring You Down Or Make You Look Bad
There are some people who are jealous because everyone likes me.

6. Life Is Always A Race. People Always Trying To Reach To Top Of Line
People always go against people in order to be at the top of the line.

7. History Is Not Always True
I study history more than before and notice some history are not true. Some history lies, misunderstanding, mislead.

Octopath Traveler

Octopath Traveler

The classic JRPG Octopath Traveler is on Nintendo Switch. The graphics are a 2.5D 16-bit style used in SNES days.

Released on July 13, 2018. And become popular and sold out in Japan, and on Amazon.com in America. On Amazon, they said that usually ship this game in 2 to 3 months. I think it’s because the developers don’t make games like SNES RPG anymore. This is a rare game in the present day. I am 39 years old so I am used to JRPG in the early ’90s

The battle is great turn-based battle system. There also a Boost attack in the battle system. When you use Boost, it can break enemies. It is a cool feature. It may seem easy to kill the enemies, but it is not easy. As for enemies’ weakness, you have to use certain weapons that the enemies are weak to. Just check the boxes below the enemies. When you meet the enemies for the first time, the boxes below enemies will show a question mark.

I’ve noticed that after a battle, you earn low gold and low experience.

The JP (Job Point?) is a feature that you earn after a battle to purchase skills for your hero characters. The skills are very expensive but worth it. These skills light spells like heal skills, and dark spells like fire skills. Each of the characters has their own skills.

Here are the examples:

Cyrus who is a Scholar with his dark spells has Fireball, Icewind, Lightning Bolt, and so on.
Ophilia who is Cleric with her light spells has Heal Wounds, Heal More, Revive and so on.

The Gameplay is very similar to Final Fantasy VI. You start with a hero character you choose, finish the first quest you have been given. When you are finished your first quest, you are free to do what you want until you meet new hero character and if you choose to let him/her join you. You are locked into that town and finish that quest. Once you did your quest, you are free to leave town and meet a hero character. You don’t have to meet every hero character every time. You can go to your second chapter and finish your own quest. I read some article that each of the heroes has their four chapters.

The only problem here is the second chapter will require over 20 level to play. Either you meet each hero character to level up your character, or keep fighting the enemies until over 20 level is reached. I choose to meet a new hero character because then the turn-based battle would become so boring by fight, fight, and fight for severalย days. But the story is up to you to do whatever you want.

The shop in this game is a little bit different from usual JRPG games. Instead of entering a store building, you go up to the door and press A button to shop. Doesn’t bother me. I don’t care about the shop system.
